We are happy to share about our new residents, Uno July, Samora and Kimmy G, who will stay at the residency in October! They were selected in collaboration with Oh Cool and Zuid-Africahuis. During their stay, in the context of the Sonic Bridges project, Uno July and Samora will participate in the Amsterdam Dance Event panel with Stichting Oh Cool and Zuid-Afrikahuis, and collaborative music sessions with electronic producers supported by AIAIAI Audio and Ableton, while Kimmy G will visually document the journey.

Uno July is a South African rapper and multidisciplinary creative from Gugulethu, Cape Town. Across two decades, he has built a distinctive body of work rooted in hip-hop, jazz and soul, carrying African and diasporic stories into global spaces. His career includes acclaimed releases, performances alongside Lauryn Hill, Yasiin Bey, Slum Village and Kendrick Lamar, and appearances at major cultural platforms including the Cape Town International Jazz Festival. Beyond music, his work spans fashion, cultural dialogue and mental-health advocacy. As co-founder of Aura Africa, he helps create platforms for cultural exchange, creative collaboration and community-led social impact.
Known as Camo, Samora is a South African hip-hop artist, DJ, voice-over artist and audio engineer. His sound blends progressive electronic hip-hop and soul with a distinctive jazz edge. As co-founder of Aura Africa, he also creates platforms that connect communities, empower local voices and inspire collaboration.
Kimmy G is a multidisciplinary creative specializing in photography, videography, web design, visual art, and concept development. Artsoul is her creative "WRLD" where she share the work that inspires, blending storytelling and artistry across different mediums to bring ideas to life.
