2025-09-05 | Richard Kofi: Threads of Our Dutch Slavery Past at Valkhof Museum
Our fellow Richard Kofi's project, Threads of Our Dutch Slavery Past, has just been completed at Valkhof Museum. Hundreds of volunteers learned embroidery, tufting, and quilting. They stitched together Nijmegen’s segment of our 35-meter-wide tapestry.
Next stops are the cities Apeldoorn and Tiel. In Apeldoorn, the tapestry is part of an important exhibition: Apeldoorn and Slavery at CODA Museum in Apeldoorn.
