2025-11-05 | Odili Donald Odita: installation on the basketball court at Hissey Park in Kensington

Our fellow Odili Donald Odita has opened his newest public piece in Philadelphia, US.

“Superstars,” 2025, is an installation on the basketball court at Hissey Park in Kensington. The project was completed with Project Backboard, a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to organizing large-scale artworks for public basketball courts. Since its inception in 2015, Project Backboard has completed over 100 courts, and I am thrilled to now be part of their ranks here in Philadelphia.
