2026-10-07 | Guy Woueté: PhD research at Sint Lucas Antwerpen School of Arts KdG

Our fellow Guy Woueté is developing a PhD project at Sint Lucas Antwerpen School of Arts KdG - WAKA Studio; Art, Education, Research and Society in Njombé-Penja, Cameroon, a territory shaped by a colonial plantation economy. This practice-based artistic research investigates artistic practice as a mode of knowledge production and as an instituting process. It evolves toward a mixed-media installation that functions as a temporary institution and an epistemic site for materially enacting and critically examining alternative conditions of artistic creation.
